Welcome! Let me introduce myself.
My name is Lawanda Shields, and I am the founder and creator of 2cuteclassroom. I am a proud native of Mississippi, and for over 20 years, I have dedicated my life to the field of education. Teaching is more than just a career for me—it is a calling rooted in a deep passion for literature, writing, and helping others grow.
Throughout my journey as an educator, I have had the privilege of inspiring students in the classroom while also growing as a lifelong learner myself. My love for reading and writing has naturally extended beyond the classroom and into my work as an author. I have published several books, including The Room 21 Series, along with a collection of practical and empowering e-books designed to support both teachers and parents.

Every teacher deserves a life outside of school.
Planning lessons shouldn’t be stressful, and it certainly shouldn’t take all day. The mission of 2cuteclassroom is to help teachers teach with ease and without stress. I believe that when teachers feel supported and prepared, they can show up more confidently and effectively for their students.

My Goal

I strive to create blog posts and resources that allow educators to:

- Maintain their peace of mind while being great teachers

Why did I created a blog for teachers? I created this blog because I wanted to help other teachers who are burned out and facing long hours…who are losing their planning time.
